 10 Random Facts about Me:

1)I have a pet raccoon named Loki

2) I'm a senior at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and will be graduating on September 27th
3) I've met Joe Murray in my lifetime in person 


4) I'm both a cartoon and comic book fan and I love new and classic animation all the same, including Flash and 3D as well as traditional
5)  I like both Marvel and DC but lean more toward Marvel, my favorite comic being the Amazing Spider-Man
6) I am not, nor have I ever been a furry. Not my cup of tea. However, I do appreciate my supporters/fans 1 million times over
7)Regular Show and The Amazing World of Gumball are my current favorite cartoons on TV
8) I never had a computer or the internet until I was 20, back in 2008
9) I used to have severe anger management issues and even threw a desk out a window in high school
10) I'm a HUGE fan of obscure music(not a hipster) like SOiL, A Band Called Pain, Grade 8 and Device

's QUESTIONS! (prepare for a book!)

1)Why do you do what you do regarding art on here? 
A1) I just love 3D, comics and cartoons. Some of the work I post is class assignments and projects, as well as commissions. I usually draw anthropomorphic characters because humans just don't have the range of visual and aesthetic appeal that animals do. There are so many more species of animals and there are only 5 or 6 major races of humans and only so much variation possible for human characters, which makes them a bit bland, though I do have a few human characters.
2)Who inspires you the most? And why?
A2) Man, that's a tough one. I'd say it's more than one and in more than one thing. Pixar inspires me to create breathtaking 3D. I was deeply inspired by the beauty in Monsters University to create my own 3D character models and make them bright, colorful and highly detailed sculpts. I love 3D, my heart beats only because of 3D. I'd say and inspire me to do comics. I love the comic book style and want to create MiniNova and hopefully mold him into one of the greats of our time.
3)Who is your favorite cartoon character? And why?
A3) Randall Boggs from Monsters Inc. or Monsters U. Either incarnation is spectacular because it's Randy! I love Randall
4)Are you more story driven, or visual driven, or a fine mixture of both? Explain
A4) I'd say both. I have a very bright, colorful visual style and a very dramatic and humorous story writing style. Just wait until I REALLY get those comic books started!
5)What is the best thing you feel you've done regarding your art?
A5)

6)What would "satisfy" you in your life? Be it something in your art or wherever else?
A6) If MiniNova became a Pixar movie, I'd die happy.
7)Who is your favorite artist?
A7) Wow, tough choice. I'd have to say either or Stephanie was my inker for MiniNova at one point and I have to say that girl has some serious talent! 
8)Do you have any other major interests besides art?
A8) Hmm, I'd love to learn to surf one day and go surfing regularly. I'm also a major tech geek and can tear computers and cell phones apart and rebuild them better than before.
9)How do you feel about the concept of art school?
A9) Well, I'm about to graduate one and I love it. It's the greatest place on earth but the work load is crushing.
10)Tell me something you just want to "shout off a rooftop" about yourself but no one ever asks. 
A10) I started college with zero talent or ability and could not draw my own characters to save my life. Throughout years of practice, hard work and perseverance, I finally developed my skills enough to where I'm happy with what I can do. I made something incredible from nothing and though I couldn't have done it without my wonderful and amazing instructors and fellow students at the Art Institute, I also had a huge role in my success story by never giving up on my dream and breaking my back to do the work necessary to achieve a better result.
